That means, if you leave body-values in the pose, you have to transfer the values from body to hip manually.Įxample:Body = 0,003, Hüfte (Hip) = 0,145 New value for the hip = 0,148 If those values haven't been set to "0", the figure won't remain in its original place, where it was placed in the beginning (body-values will not be saved). #Curious Labs Poser 5 seriesThe most important thing is that the pose has been done correctly.Įxtremely important: ALL BODY-VALUES HAVE TO BE SET TO "0"! It's better to check this again before saving a whole series of poses. The saving of poses isn't really complicated. The previews can be replaced by other pictures (size: 91 x 91 pixels). C:\Programme\CuriousLabs\Poser4\Runtinne\libraries\Pose\! v3 laserġ pose consists of two files: *.pz2 = parameter setup (the posesettings) *.rsr = preview of the pose Generally Poser will be installed in the directory c:\programs, but each other partition of the harddisc is also possible. (3)Ĭurious Labs\Poser 4\Runtime\Libraries\Pose\Pose-set-name You can do this by writing a "0" (zero) in front of the filename. "settings-poses" should be placed at the beginning. Poser directorie s are "key-sensitive" which means if you press an "s" you will go to the first directory that starts with "s". In Poser 5 you have to consider in which subdirectory you will put in the poses. You should use "speaking-names" for the poses or the the poses-series (v3-laser = Victoria 3 holding a laser sword). If you have a lot of pose-files, it will be helpful to set up this directory with a "!" in front of a name because it is easier to find again. If you make them in Explorer, Poser has to initialize the directory again. #Curious Labs Poser 5 windowsI am newbie in Poser too.You can make new library names for poses directly in Poser and also in the Windows explorer. #Curious Labs Poser 5 how toIs any possilbe way how to export hair (created as strands - splines) from Poser to C4D not as splines with physical aspects (gravity etc.) but all hairs as a one textured object (like when I use predefined hair trans maps)? I dont need to animate or modify hair in C4D. Now I realize that my question was about exporting rather than importing. I think it would be good for me to buy Maxon Hair. Thank you very much for your explanation. #Curious Labs Poser 5 proInterPoser Pro will be ready for beta very soon - I just wish that it had been realized earlier how significant the master-slaves would be (and that they’d need to be done with my own code instead of XPresso). It makes a big difference - there will be images at my site to show off the final alpha when the master-slave system has been thoroughly shaken down (Had to contend with circular links after all and some other oddities - mainly with Injection master controls (PBMCC_ type stuff)). I don’t think people realize how important it is to Poser - at least 90% of the figures tested have had them (valueOps and/or linkParms). It’s quite a task just to support the basic Poser features in C4D - just finishing up (successfully might I add) the master-slave control system. I’m still debating on whether to support Poser hair myself (it will be a later addition to Pro then) or require Cinema 4D Hair and convert between (still after release, but probably implemented sooner). You know about the Cinema 4D Hair module - well, Poser hair isn’t quite as powerful, but nearly as complex (again, a third-party add on purchased by Curious Labs - just like the Face Room, Cloth Room, and Shader systems). Oh, I could easily recreate the splines described in file but then there is a ton of background stuff going on there (populating, dynamics, styling, gravity, and all of the other physical simulation aspects). The spline hair of Poser 5/6 is doable, but not easy by any stretch.
